Honey bees project

The CBO, through benefactors in Spain, has procured 100 sets of beehives for community members. As our ancestral land is being encroached and the effects of climate change visible everyday, the Community met and thought a change to our lifestyles has to take place.

Through these beehives, the community members can be assured of the much needed protein and minerals, and medicinal value of the honey.

The project is in its initial stages and it is the hope of the CBO that community members will get food and some income to sustain families in times of need.

2020 renewed

The youth are a sign of a 'growing' future.

Elders are important part of community fabric, theirs is a wealth of history, wisdom, counsel, and joy to us all.
