Tourist guides training programme

Started nearly a year ago, the programme have seen some inspired six young men becoming the first of the indigenous Hadzabe to qualify as tourist guides. The six have been trained in basic guiding skills, English language and the geography of the area. These six guides have all passed their examinations and are now working freelance, as we as CBO, are working to get our programme running.

Another group of six students are now in training, with, for the first time, inclusion of girls. This second group will complete their studies in December this year thus equipping the community with twelve trained tourist guides.
